Physical Therapist
Jo earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017 and has spent the past several years working in outpatient orthopedics in the Chicago area. She joined Centre Physical Therapy in 2025, bringing with her a strong foundation in evidence-based care and a passion for treating the whole person.
Jo has a special interest in working with runners. As a long-time runner herself, she understands the unique demands of the sport and is trained in running gait analysis, programming, and injury management. Whether helping athletes return to the track or stay on it safely, Jo focuses on performance and longevity.
She is also experienced in treating pelvic floor conditions, particularly in prenatal and postpartum patients. Jo is passionate about helping individuals navigate the transition after childbirth—whether it's being able to lift a baby comfortably, sneeze without discomfort, or return to exercise with confidence.
Jo believes in rehabbing with the future in mind—not just resolving current symptoms, but building strength and movement patterns that support lifelong health.
Outside the clinic, Jo enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and their lovable Bernese mountain dog. She’s happiest when outdoors and always up for a travel adventure.
